New Bee Owners (soon to bee Beekeepers). If you haven't already purchased your feeders for the Fall; now would bee a good time to place your order. I would recommend a hive top feeder because you can refill them in cold weather without chilling your bees. There are a number of hive top feeders on the market. Everyone,
We are having a very short window of warm weather (today and tomorrow). Feed, feed, feed; both sugar syrup and pollen substitute. You can add syrup to your hive top feeders or just set feeders out somewhere away from your be yard. Feeding in the bee yard could cause robbing.
Just place pollen substitute on a paper plate or some other flat surface and just watch the bees gorge themselves. Don't leave it out overnight because the dew will cause it to harden. Cr… Continue

Just a reminder to everyone that has not registered their apiary with the State of Tennessee.
Tennessee State Law requires you to register your colony/ies (hives). If your hive is reported and you have not submitted your registration you could receive a fine of up to $500.00.
